We visited in March 2026 and were impressed by the freshness of the fish. The restaurant sources from local fishermen, and it shows. The terrace is the place to be — watch the boats come and go while enjoying grilled sardines, gambas al ajillo and fresh fish. Service is friendly and the portions are generous.

Around 8 slot machines are positioned near the bar. They're unobtrusive and well-maintained. Most guests come for the terrace and the seafood — slots are an optional extra for a bit of fun before or after your meal.

Food & Dining Experience

The espetos de sardinas — sardines grilled on skewers over an open fire — are a Málaga classic and done well here. The gambas al ajillo are plump and garlicky. The pescado del día (fish of the day) is always a good choice — grilled simply with olive oil and lemon. We also tried the arroz con mariscos — a seafood rice dish — and it was excellent.

Drinks and Desserts

Cold beer, wine and sangría pair well with the seafood. The tarta de Santiago and flan are solid dessert options. Service is relaxed and unhurried — perfect for a long lunch by the sea.
